The Role: Software Development Intern

Want to code at the edge of innovation? As a Software Development Intern, you’ll dive into real projects across our agency and game studio during a 3-to-6-month gig. Based in Galway, Ireland (with remote options for overseas talent), you’ll team up with seasoned devs to solve tricky problems and bring ideas to life—whether it’s a client’s next big tool or a game feature that players will love. This is hands-on dev work with real stakes and epic rewards.

What You’ll Do

• Code, test, and debug across a wild mix of projects—think client apps to game mechanics.

• Build custom solutions with our agency team for industries like e-commerce, business intel, and gaming.

• Shape NumWorlds and beyond with our game crew, harnessing Unreal Engine’s power.

• Jump into code reviews, brainstorms, and team huddles to sharpen your skills and pitch ideas.

• Play with cutting-edge tools and tech, from web frameworks to game engines.

What We’re Looking For

We want interns who live for code, crave challenges, and bring fresh energy. Here’s the rundown:

• Coding Chops: You’ve got the basics locked down:
  • Clean, documented, maintainable code.
  • Modular, reusable designs.
  • Consistent naming and formatting.
  • Git and debugging know-how.

• Pro Attitude: You nail deadlines, thrive in teams, and deliver solid work.

• Web Foundations: You’re comfy with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and have dabbled in frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js) or APIs.

• Communication: You speak up, ask killer questions, and collaborate—with solid English (B2 minimum).

• Curiosity: You’re stoked to master Unreal Engine, solve puzzles, and push boundaries.

Bonus (Not Required): Skills in Unreal Engine, C++, Python, or a portfolio of cool projects (games, apps, anything!).
